Women’s Fund – Porter County Community Foundation The Women’s Fund of Porter County empowers, connects, and inspires women in our community by collectively supporting initiatives and organizations that are creating positive changes and bettering all our lives. Since inception, the Women’s Fund has awarded 66 grants totaling over $950,000 to fund essential programs that support women and children throughout Porter County.
In 2025 the Women’s Fund of Porter County awarded $57,500 in grants to local organizations. The Caring Place and Porter County Aging and Community Services were granted $25,000 each to support high-impact programs. Dressed For School, Our Greater Good, and Parents As Teachers of Porter County were awarded $2,500 for general support.
2026 Application Information The Women’s Fund of Porter County welcomes nonprofit organizations serving Porter County to submit a grant request. Recipient organizations must be organized for tax exempt purposes as set forth in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. Organizations that received a $25,000 Women’s Fund grant in 2025 are not eligible to apply this year.
Please note that project areas NOT considered for funding include the following: Projects or programs that do not address issues facing women and/or children; Scholarship programs including daycare and program participation fees; Annual appeals or membership contributions; Programs that are sectarian or religious in nature; Political organizations, programs, or candidates; Contributions to endowment campaigns; Campaigns to reduce previously incurred debt; Programs already completed and/or equipment already contracted for; Travel for bands, sports teams and similar groups; Camp scholarships or fees related to camp programs; or Recurring professional development opportunities such as annual conferences.
Applications for funding must be submitted online by the deadline, July 15, 2026. Read About the 2025 Recipients Grant Recipient Spotlight Porter County Aging & Community Services PCACS extends a helping hand to seniors, people with disabilities and low-income residents.
The organization received grant support for the Hardship Assistance Program, which provides immediate, compassionate support to Porter County women and children facing financial crises. The Caring Place provides inclusive services, shelter, and ongoing support for people experiencing domestic violence.
The Women’s Fund supported The Caring Kitchen, which provides daily, nutritious meals to survivors in shelter, reducing waste and costs while creating a welcoming space for nourishment and healing.
Hilltop Neighborhood House This grant awarded to Hilltop Neighborhood House from the Women’s Fund is helping to provide nutritious meals to those in need, promote food security, and foster a sense of community support and empowerment through Hilltop Mission Kitchen.

CFNF Helping Today, Shaping Tomorrow Grant is a grant from the Community Foundation of North Florida that funds nonprofits addressing pressing challenges with programs and services of lasting impact in Florida's Big Bend region. Each year, CFNF awards ten grants of $5,000 each to eligible organizations. A separate Arts Nonprofit Grant Cycle awards five grants of $6,000 each for arts organizations in the same region.
