Call for Proposals: Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund and Women Have Wings CSO Peer Learning Awards - Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund Call for Proposals: Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund and Women Have Wings CSO Peer Learning Awards The Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund, in partnership with Women Have Wings , is thrilled to announce its first call for proposals to promote peer learning between civil society organizations (CSOs) working on women, youth, peace and humanitarian issues while recognizing the contributions of CSO representatives on the front lines.

In the framework of the WPHF Global Community of Practice , which enables WPHF-supported civil society partners from around the world to connect with each other and deepen their skills and capacity, WPHF seeks to fund qualifying proposals that contribute to the following objectives: Amplify the voices, promote the work, and recognize the vision and courage of ten women – including young women – CSO representatives engaged in peacebuilding and crisis response; Foster peer learning, networking, and solidarity between ten CSOs engaged in peacebuilding and crisis response, with a focus on youth and gender equality.

Thanks to the generous support of Women Have Wings , this call for proposals will also provide: Honorary awards to 10 women leaders – including young women – who engage in peace and/or crisis response and contribute to their CSO’s mission and goals in a meaningful way.

Grants of 5,000 USD for 5 tandems of CSOs working on women, youth, peace, and humanitarian issues to develop a peer learning relationship based on trust and solidarity, each tandem involving at least one active WPHF CSO grantee and at least one youth rights/led organization*. The awards will be a recognition of how these ten women – including young women – engage in peacebuilding and/or crisis response in a meaningful way.

A peer learning relationship aims at exchanging experience and knowledge across CSOs as well as supporting and collaborating with the other CSOs to improve institutional capacity. *PLEASE NOTE: An active WPHF grantee is a CSO who is implementing a project with funds from WPHF at the time of the call for proposals and whose project will end after 20 October 2021.

*Please Note: the lead CSO APPLICANT MAY BE simultaneously a youth rights/led organization and an active WPHF grantee ; IN THIS CASE, THE SECOND CSO MAY BE AN ACTIVE OR PAST WPHF GRANTEE OR ANY WOMEN’S CSO WORKING TOWARDS PEACE AND/OR CRISIS RESPONSE.
