United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties Announces Funding Allocations for 2024 | United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties Announces Funding Allocations for 2024 United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties recently announced it will distribute $449,000 in south Wood County and $39,000 in Adams County, for a total of $488,000, pending a successful fall campaign.
Please note that dollars raised in each county are allocated in the county they are raised, unless otherwise designated by the donor. Earlier this year, United Way accepted funding applications for programs that address “Education” and “Health”. These programs will receive a grant for 2024.
“Financial Stability” and “Safety Net Service” programs are currently funded through 2024 and will be able to apply in 2024 for 2025 funding. “We’ve made these promises to our partner programs, now we look to the community to help us deliver,” said Tari Jahns, CEO. “The dollars we allocate to these programs come from our annual community campaign.
That is why it’s important we have a successful campaign, to help fill these needs.
” The 2024 Allocations are as follows: Education - South Wood County Child Care Provider Recruitment/Retention Before, After, and Summer School Programs Health - South Wood County Opportunity for All - Access for All Park Place Adult Day Services Continuation Grants - South Wood County Income Continuation Grants 2024 Safety Net Services Continuation Grants 2024 Community Impact Requests Continuation Grants - Adams County Safety Net Services Continuation Grants 2024
