Community grants—a catalyst for change | Wonderful CSR California’s Central Valley California’s Wine Country Community grants—a catalyst for change Wonderful's Central Valley Community Grants program has donated over $6 million to Central Valley nonprofits since 2016 Dedicated to harvesting health and happiness around the world, we launched the Central Valley Community Grants Program in 2016.

Wonderful's Central Valley Community Grants are designed to help drive increased engagement with local and regional organizations, with funds ranging between $1,000 and $100,000 directly supporting game-changing initiatives focused on community health, youth enrichment, arts, and economic advancement. These local programs not only demonstrate a genuine community need but also deliver tangible and visible results.

CEO of Westside Family Preservation Services Over the last eight years, The Wonderful Company and its co-owners, Lynda and Stewart Resnick, through their foundation, have awarded over $6 million in Wonderful Community Grants to more than 77 nonprofits and 165 schools in the San Joaquin Valley.

Some of those grant recipients include: Central California Food Bank : Provide monthly fresh produce and essential provisions distributions at three partner sites in Avenal. 3E Empower Equip Embark Inc.: Provide unemployed women living near the poverty level with workforce programming and job placement through an intensive three-week program.

Central Valley Scholars: Offer college-prep workshops to provide students with access to the necessary information, tools, and resources to submit successful college applications. Boys & Girls Club of Fresno County: Deliver after-school programming for kids, ages 6-18, and paid apprenticeships for teens. American Red Cross: Provide free smoke alarm installations in households across Lost Hills and Delano.

Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra: Cover ticket, transportation, and dinner costs for Shafter and Delano students to attend in-person symphony concerts through the BSO Next Generation and Young People’s Concert Outreach Programs during the Spring season.

‍ Kern County Library : Provide books, resources, and literacy programs to 96,245 community members in Wasco, Delano, and Lost Hills, as well as a sprinter van that will be converted into a library on wheels for outreach events. Our long-valued partnership with The Wonderful Company has grown even more vital during this time of unprecedented need, and we are thankful for their continued support of the youth of Del Rey.
