Community Grants Program - Woodbury Foundation For more than 20 years, the Woodbury Community Foundation has connected donors, volunteers, and community partners with causes that strengthen Woodbury. Through a variety of charitable funds, we invest in local nonprofit organizations and community initiatives that improve the quality of life for those who live, work, and play in our community.
Donate to Support Community Grants The Woodbury Community Foundation provides grants through several funding sources, each with its own purpose and funding priorities. Field of Interest Funds supporting Arts & Culture, Health & Human Services, and Environmental initiatives. Donor Advised Funds , where fund advisors recommend grants to qualified nonprofit organizations.
Designated and Agency Funds , established to support specific organizations or charitable purposes. Fiscal Sponsorship and Partner Funds , which allow community initiatives to receive charitable support through WCF. Board-directed grants , awarded as opportunities and community needs arise.
Our Former Community Grants Program has historically provided competitive grants to nonprofit organizations serving the Woodbury community. As the Foundation grows, we are transitioning toward a permanent, endowed grantmaking model through our new Field of Interest Funds .
These endowed funds will provide sustainable, long-term resources for future grantmaking in the areas of: During this transition, the Woodbury Community Foundation Board of Directors may continue to make grants through the Community Grants Program as funding is available, while also awarding grants through other charitable funds managed by the Foundation.
