It aims to respond to the negative impacts of COVID-19, provide increased opportunity for unemployed or underemployed individuals, and support the recovery and economic resilience and/or quality of life in Ontario County.
Activities may include workforce training for new and existing underemployed employees, assistance for unemployed and underemployed workers (job training, public jobs programs, subsidized employment), and job fairs or grants to businesses to hire underserved workers. A minimum 50% applicant match is required.
