We focus on small business support, corporate recruitment, business retention and expansion, foreign trade, and strategic initiatives.
Through tailored assistance and strong partnerships, we’ll help you secure funding, fast-track your startup, and navigate growth opportunities. Loans and Business Support: Economic Development Loan Fund – Aims to stimulate business growth, create jobs, encourage private investment, and enhance neighborhood vitality by providing loans to viable businesses that yield strong economic returns and positive social and environmental impacts.
Construction Mitigation Grant – Provides funding to independent businesses in Salt Lake City, particularly restaurants, bars, and retail shops, that are impacted by nearby construction. Workforce Development – Salt Lake City invests in training and education to support a skilled, diverse workforce. With low unemployment and strong industry partnerships, the city drives job growth and economic success.

University of Utah Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute – The Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute is a nationally ranked hub for student entrepreneurship and innovation at the University of Utah and an interdisciplinary division of the David Eccles School of Business State Resources Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity Grants – Occasionally, to support Utah businesses, the Legislature allocates grant funding and programs.
