* Prepare Your Application * Available to businesses or co-applicants physically located in NH and businesses intending to physically locate in New Hampshire; * Available to businesses that pay quarterly unemployment compensation taxes to New Hampshire; * Available to businesses that are in compliance with state laws and regulations;AND * Available to cover 50% of training expenses for existing workers whose payroll is reported to New Hampshire as well as workers yet to be hired but will be hired in advance of the start of training and will be part of the employer’s NH workforce.

**WorkInvestNH requires:** * Employer provides proof of payment for approved training and then WorkInvestNH provides the employer with 50% reimbursement for approved training costs. * A fully executed contract must be in place prior to the beginning of the training. * Any grant award of $70,000 or more has to be approved by the Governor and Executive Council.

* WorkInvestNH funds do not cover travel, lodging or costs of meals. Here's how to prepare your application to the job training fund * If possible, applications should be submitted 60 days in advance of the anticipated training start date. Please do not schedule any training less than two months prior to your submitted application.

This is important for planning purposes, since no training can be funded unless a contract has been approved by the Office of Attorney General. Grant applications seeking grant funds totaling $70,000 or more have to be approved by Governor and Executive Council. * Determine the reasons why you would like to upgrade the skills of your workforce.

pdf ### Acceptable Use of Grant Funds: * Structured, on-site laboratory or classroom training * Management and Supervision * English as a Second Language * Other training programs that enhance the state’s workforce development ### Please Review Before Applying The full program process, from application to a signed contract, typically takes 60 days. * Training cannot begin until the contract is signed by all parties.

Any training that starts before the contract is fully executed will not be funded. * All proposed trainings must be completed within one year from the contract’s full execution date. Requests for $70,000 or more must be approved by the Governor & Executive Council.

nh. gov, or mail your application to: ### After Submitting the Application Upon confirming receipt, a Program Specialist will review your application for completeness. If it is incomplete or requires further details, you will be asked to provide corrections.

Otherwise, the Specialist will prepare your application for presentation at the next WINH Committee Review Meeting.

Upon approval by the WINH Committee, the applicant will be asked to submit their company’s full contract package: * Initialed & Signed Contract (draft contract sent upon approval) * Certificate of Authority * Certificate of Good Standing with NH SOS * Certificate of Insurance (General Liability & Workers' Compensation) * NH State Vendor Code - **_register here_**)/welcome.
