Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund Grant Program is sponsored by Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund. Funding for projects that preserve and promote Wyoming’s cultural heritage, including historic preservation, arts, and community cultural events.

Help Spread the Word Give Credit Where Credit Is Due The WCTF can provide grant funding for all forms of arts and culture, including but not limited to: Visual Art – photography, sculpture, painting, experimental, graphics Performing Arts – theatre, dance, music Crafts – clay, fiber, glass, leather, wood, jewelry, mixed-media Design Arts – architecture, fashion, industrial, landscape Media Arts – film, audio, video, technology/experimental Literature – fiction, non-fiction, poetry, criticism Folk/Traditional Arts – dance, music, crafts, oral traditions Humanities – history, folklore/folklife, languages, anthropology, sociology Historic and Architectural Preservation – conservation, survey, preservation planning, restoration or rehabilitation Community Cultural Celebrations Wyoming Non-profit and governmental agencies may apply.

Non-profit organizations must be determined tax-exempt by the Internal Revenue Service and incorporated in the State of Wyoming. Governmental agency means any state, tribal, federal, county or local government agency, including municipal subdivisions.

All programs and activities proposed must occur primarily within the State of Wyoming; although it is recognized that expertise may be based in other states, the final product/project/event or activity must occur in Wyoming. Promotional or marketing efforts of events/sites/projects may be directed and focused outside the state. All Cultural Trust Fund grant awards must be matched dollar for dollar.

Applications must demonstrate a match based either on cash and/or in-kind donations. WCTF Grant Application Process: The Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund has two grant deadlines per year: April 1 for projects/events/activities which begin after July 1; and October 1 for projects/events/activities which begin after January 1. Please note, if you have used the Foundant portal for applying to the Wyoming Arts Council or the Wyoming Humanities Council, you will still need to create a new Wyoming non-profit or governmental entity Organizational and User Profile with the Cultural Trust Fund grant portal. The April 1, 2026 deadline is a hard deadline. All grant applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.

All published material, radio and TV announcements must include the following credit: “Supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, a program of the Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources. ” Tag us in your posts on Facebook and Instagram, we'd love to share your project!

or utilize the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund logo, available for download below: Download image files directly: (numbers correspond to above gallery placement) (This credit is required for ALL programs/events/activities including any internal support, such as staffing, board development, endowment campaigns, etc.) For any construction, building rehabilitation or major equipment purchases installed within a building, the Grantee must erect and maintain a Project sign at the Project site.

A Project sign is included for your use. You may also design and construct a comprehensive sign to be displayed within a lobby or be designed to withstand weather exposure if located in an outdoor location. At a minimum, a comprehensive sign must contain the WCTF logo or the following statement: “The (define project) is being supported in part by the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund.

” (The cost of fabricating and erecting a comprehensive sign is an eligible cost for this grant.)
