Investing in Jewish Educational Excellence Yael Foundation invests in schools to strengthen programs, expand access, and build environments throughout the school year, so every child can grow in the areas of Jewish identity and confidence, and receive an excellent education. We empower schools with the resources to become the preferred educational choice for Jewish families.

Jewish schools, kindergartens and informal Jewish educational programs for ages 3-18 are eligible for potential Yael Foundation investment. ‍ ** All applicants must be legally registered organizations ** ** Schools in North America and Israel are currently not eligible. ** Initiatives that support recruitment of new students for the relevant program.

Salaries for Jewish/Hebrew and general studies teaching staff.

Educational upgrades, including both curriculum-focused (e.g., curriculum purchasing, curriculum development) and equipment/technology that supports educational initiatives Incentives that will motivate parents to select a Jewish education for their children, such as tuition scholarships, transportation, longer school days, extra-curricular activities etc. We accept applications on a rolling basis and aim to review each application promptly, ensuring a response within six months of submission.

We will only review grant applications from legally registered organizations with complete documentation. Grants are given according to a 12-month plan that must be focused on long-term educational impact. Grant size is determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, student enrollment, location, and cost-of-living considerations.

We engage with grantees through regular calls, reporting, site visits, and impact assessments, providing hands-on guidance and support to ensure goals are achieved.
