YALA is once again thrilled to partner with Movement synagogues, clergy, and Jewish organizations to create meaningful experiences for young adults in the 2025–2026 fiscal year. We are offering microgrants to support initiatives and events that foster engagement and connection among young adults in your community. Grants will be awarded from**July 2026 through June 2027**as follows * **Up to $400****for a****first-timer.
**If your synagogue did not hold either a Synagogue Partnership or Beyond Walls event before. * **Up to $300 for returnees. **If your synagogue held either a Synagogue Partnership event or Beyond Walls event in a previous year.
Microgrants are available for two types of partnerships:**S****ynagogue/Organization Partnerships and****Beyond the Walls Partnerships. **Each synagogue/organization will be awarded one grant per year in total (not one grant per type of partnership). 1.
**Synagogue/Organization Partnerships**– These involve communal events held within a synagogue, organization space, or external venue. 2. **Beyond the Walls Partnerships**– These are informal gatherings with a clergy member held outside the walls of a synagogue, in more casual or public settings.
We look forward to supporting your efforts to engage and inspire local young adults through creative and meaningful programming. **Please Note:**If your synagogue has received a grant, and you do not all use all the allocated funds for the first event, you can use the balance for another event in the same fiscal year.
