Young Farmer Grant Program is sponsored by Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) / Texas Agricultural Finance Authority (TAFA). This program provides dollar-for-dollar matching grant funds to young agricultural producers aged 18 to 45 who are creating or expanding an agricultural business in Texas. The grants aim to grow and support Texas agriculture and help meet financial needs.
Grant funds are awarded on a cost-reimbursement basis and cannot be used for capital purchases exceeding $5,000. It is offered twice per year (spring and fall).
