Meet the Promising Scholars The Foundation for Child Development’s Young Scholars Program (YSP) supports early-career scholars conducting research to inform policy and practice to ensure that all young children – including those marginalized by racism, xenophobia, or economic inequality – can thrive. The program’s research priorities have evolved over time.
Beginning in 2015 and ending in 2025, the program supported scholars studying strategies to strengthen and support the early care and education workforce. From 2003 through 2015, YSP funded researchers focused on young children in immigrant families. Learn more about funded scholars .
