The program is open to high school students with the goal of developing their leadership skills. Two juniors from each high school in Jefferson County will get the chance to participate in events like WorldFest, Light Up Louisville, the Mayorthon, and the Hike, Bike, and Paddle. Following each event, students will give their opinions on the events.
Students interested in applying must have a 3. 7 weighted GPA and submit a 90-second video to the school's leader detailing their interest in the program and how they will connect with classmates through the program. WLKY is the media partner for this program.
