Youth Development & Culture Grants - RurAL CAP Youth Development & Culture Grants Youth Development and Culture Grants, a mini grant program, supports youth leadership and cultural activities in rural Alaska Native communities through a competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) solicitation.
The Youth Development and Culture Grant (YDCG) Program, managed by RurAL CAP through The Resource Basket , provides grants to support projects aimed at reducing the disproportionate contact Alaska Native youth have with the juvenile justice system. Grants are available on a rolling basis. We emphasize strengthening protective factors for Alaska Native youth through culturally grounded and community-driven efforts.
The program funds innovative initiatives that connect youth to cultural activities and develop youth leadership skills. For more information call 907. 444.
