Youth Employment Program (YEP) Funding Availability

Rural Healthcare Workforce Initiatives grant (Tennessee) is sponsored by Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD). This grant program focuses on leveraging existing healthcare training structures to expand and support Registered Apprenticeships, Workforce Development Initiatives (WDIs), and Work-Based Learning (WBL) opportunities in rural communities in Tennessee. It aims to build upon existing healthcare talent pipelines by connecting individuals to career opportunities, retaining talent, recruiting new talent, and growing existing talent. The grant provides financial support to rural sponsoring entities for ancillary costs for apprentices and WDI/WBL participants, such as transportation, uniforms, certification and examination fees, and training.

Lowe's Hometowns Grant Program is sponsored by Lowe's. This program aims to restore and revitalize community spaces across the country through physical renovations. Consumers can nominate a community space in their hometown, such as a neighborhood garden, park, or community center. While broad, it can apply to infrastructure improvements within a community context.
