Technical Assistance Webinar: The Equipment Grants Program (EGP) The Equipment Grants Program seeks to provide eligible institutions with the opportunity to acquire a shared-use piece of equipment/instrument that supports their research, research training, and extension goals. The National Institute of Food and Agriculture provides leadership and funding for programs that advance agriculture-related sciences.
Youth Farm Safety Education and Certification Program To expedite distribution of Fiscal Year 2025 NIFA grant funds for the Youth Farm Safety Education and Certification (YFSEC) Program, some processes for this FY have changed. This program will not issue a NOFO in FY25. Funds will be distributed to existing projects or previously peer-reviewed and meritorious but unfunded proposals.
NIFA will issue a NOFO in FY26 upon receipt of appropriations. Youth Farm Safety Education and Certification (YFSEC) Program supports national efforts to deliver timely, pertinent, and appropriate farm safety education to youth seeking employment or already employed in agricultural production.
