Youth Mental Health Corps is sponsored by UServeUtah. An AmeriCorps program aiming to improve mental health and well-being of Utah’s youth through direct service and program support.

AmeriCorps Grant Application Information | UServeUtah AmeriCorps provides support to nonprofits, community organizations, and public agencies committed to addressing critical issues in areas such as education, public safety, health, economic opportunity, the environment, and other human needs. Grantees and sponsoring organizations are responsible for recruiting, selecting, and managing members.

Utah AmeriCorps State Notice of Funding Opportunity 2026-2027 AmeriCorps State Planning Grants UServeUtah announces the availability of funding for AmeriCorps State Planning Grants for the 2026-27 program year. As a pass-through agency for federal funding, UServeUtah conducts a competitive grant review process for planning grants to ensure AmeriCorps State programming addresses critical needs in Utah.

Planning grants are designed to support organizations in developing a high-quality AmeriCorps program that addresses pressing community needs across Utah. These funds provide organizations with time and resources to conduct community assessments, build strategic partnerships, draft policies and procedures, establish performance measures, and design an operational program model before applying for full operational funding.

Grant funds must be used solely for planning for the operation of an AmeriCorps State program and may not be used for general organizational expenses. Subdivisions of the state, Indian tribes, public or private nonprofit organizations, including religious organizations and labor organizations, and institutions of higher education are eligible to apply.
