United Way of Southern Nevada announces application launch for 2026 Community Impact Grants - United Way Southern Nevada United Way of Southern Nevada announces application launch for 2026 Community Impact Grants LAS VEGAS – Local nonprofits have a chance to transform their impact: United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) has officially opened applications for its 2026 Community Impact Grants.
Over the past 12 months, UWSN has helped 34,000+ youth access educational opportunities, supported 2,500+ individuals on pathways to financial security, and connected 120,000+ families to essential health and crisis resources through programs like this.
This year, UWSN is looking to partner with local organizations to build on this momentum by funding programs that help young people succeed, empower people to achieve financial security, provide access to health resources, and strengthen crisis support to keep households stable. Selected organizations will receive financial and organizational support, along with community-wide recognition, to enhance their reach and impact.
“Our Community Impact Grant Program is built for the community and led by the community,” said Samuel Rudd, President & CEO of UWSN. “Volunteers from across Southern Nevada and multiple sectors review applications to ensure funding aligns with current community needs, while nonprofits receive resources, visibility, and partnership support to strengthen and grow their programs.
” Funding will be available to nonprofits that offer evidence-based programs in the following four focus areas: ? Youth Opportunity: Programs that help children and students reach their full potential from early childhood through higher education, including preschool education, academic support, mentoring, college and career readiness, FAFSA and financial aid assistance, and postsecondary transition support. ?
Financial Security: Programs that enable individuals and families to achieve economic stability and build long-term financial well-being, including adult education, job training, workforce credentialing, tax credit assistance, and affordable housing services. ?
Healthy Community: Programs that improve health and well-being by providing access to physical and behavioral healthcare, nutrition education, food security, mental health services, community safety initiatives, digital connectivity, and language access. ?
Community Resiliency: Programs that help individuals and families avoid crises, maintain household stability, and recover rapidly when challenges arise, including rapid response services, housing and rehousing support, transportation assistance, and services for Special Populations. 2026 Community Impact Grant Application Information: ?
