College Scholarships – Community Electric Cooperative Community College Scholarships reset to default font size Virginia, Maryland, & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives (VMDAEC) Scholarship Any high school or home school senior graduating whose parents or guardians are consumer-members of Community Electric Cooperative and whose primary residence is served by the cooperative is eligible for a $1,000 scholarship.

A combination of weighted criteria is used in the selection process: 40% academic achievement; Funds can be applied towards tuition, student fees, room and board, or textbooks. Primary residence of applicant’s parent or legal guardian must receive its power from one of the 15 electric cooperatives served by VMDAEC. Applicants applying for a scholarship must be a senior graduating from either high school or home school.
