On February 3, 2022, the City Council allocated $10 million for Youth, and they designated the Economic & Workforce Development Committee (EWDC) to oversee the implementation planning for this category.

This funding provides support to youth serving organizations for services that support enhanced education and workforce pathways through a combined competitive process. The implementation plan was approved by EWDC on June 24, 2022, and the City Council on August 18, 2022.
