Start a YouthBuild Program - YouthBuild Start a YouthBuild Program Start a YouthBuild Program Home Get Involved Start a YouthBuild Program Start a YouthBuild Program There are two ways to start a YouthBuild program: join the YouthBuild Affiliated Network by obtaining a license from YouthBuild Global or win a competitive YouthBuild grant directly from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).
YouthBuild Affiliated Network The YouthBuild Affiliated Network is comprised of hundreds of YouthBuild programs around the world who are committed to our program model and philosophy, and maintaining a strong YouthBuild movement in partnership with YouthBuild Global and each other.
Affiliates are eligible for a variety of benefits, including pass-through funding from YouthBuild Global, leadership opportunities, and access to a system of mutual support for YouthBuild program directors, staff, and students. Organizations interested in applying for affiliation should complete this form .
Through our decades-long partnership with AmeriCorps, domestic affiliates have a unique opportunity to become a YouthBuild AmeriCorps program. Contact the YouthBuild Global Network Engagement team at networkengagement@youthbuild. org .
U.S. Department of Labor YouthBuild Public or private 501(c)3 nonprofits in the United States, U.S. Territories, and Native American tribal governments and organizations are eligible to apply for the U.S. Department of Labor YouthBuild grant. YouthBuild programs that are licensed by YouthBuild Global are independently operated, and YouthBuild Global does not seed nor start YouthBuild programs.
Affiliates that do not win one of the limited competitive grants from the U.S. Department of Labor raise funds from other public and private sources to operate their YouthBuild program. YouthBuild Global does not directly run any local programs nor does it participate in the selection of DOL YouthBuild grantees.
