Electric Transportation Services — Circuit Unlock Clean Mobility Funding Apply Now for NYSERDA’s $21M Zero-Emission Transportation Program The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has announced $21 million in new funding through its Clean Mobility Program to bring more equitable, sustainable, zero-emission transportation solutions to communities across the state.
This is a competitive funding opportunity for demonstration projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve local mobility options, and serve historically disadvantaged communities. Applications are due September 25, 2025 at 3:00 p. m.
ET Eligible applicants include: C o mmunity-based nonprofits E m ployers or groups of employers with at least 1,000 employees in the community they plan to serve Eligible projects include: EV rideshare and on-demand services Microtransit and electric shuttle operations Charging hubs supporting light-duty EVs, e-bikes, and scooters E-bike, scooter, and shared micromobility programs 🚫 Gas-powered vehicles and traditional fixed-route transit are not eligible Spotlight: Local Projects in Action Circuit’s experience in New York makes us a familiar and reliable partner for this opportunity.

NYSERDA requires demonstration applicants to show they’ve completed key planning steps. We can help assemble the necessary documentation to meet this requirement. What planning documents do I need provide in my application?
Demonstration applications must contain a completed planning document that includes community engagement, site identification and operations, project partner identification, technical feasibility assessment, and a policy and regulatory feasibility assessment. Does this round include applications for planning grants? Unfortunately, round 2 is reserved for demonstration grants only.
