Zilbermann Tzedakah Fund is sponsored by Temple Emanu-El. Addresses the root causes of social and economic injustice throughout North Texas, primarily in Dallas, focusing on issues such as housing, education, hunger, and health.

Zilbermann Tzedakah Fund | Temple Emanu-El The Mark and Peggy Zilbermann Tzedakah Fund The Zilbermann Tzedakah Fund’s purpose is to address the root causes of social and economic injustice throughout North Texas, primarily in Dallas, in the hope of helping those in need escape the cycle of poverty.

The Fund may also address the challenges of housing, education, hunger, health and related issues encountered by those living in poverty; education on the complex issue of poverty as a broader community issue; and additional poverty-related issues as identified by the Grants Committee. Currently, grant applications are by invitation only.

We address the root causes of social and economic injustice throughout North Texas, particularly in Dallas. Our goal is to empower individuals and communities, helping those in need break free from the cycle of poverty.

As a statewide non-profit organization, Texans Care for Children conducts research and engages communities to identify ways that state policies should change to ensure Texas kids and families succeed.

CPAL (Child Poverty Action Lab) Every child deserves a life filled with opportunity. The Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL) operates as an unofficial R&D department for Dallas, rethinking how data can be integrated into public systems, community programs, and neighborhood life to break cycles of intergenerational poverty.

Spring 2024: Addiction Recovery and Mental Health Provides transitional living, support services and life skills training to unhoused individuals suffering from alcoholism and substance abuse.
