* _FIRST_ LEGO League Explore * _FIRST_ LEGO League Challenge High Tech Kids>Team Funding>3M Grants 3M has provided a limited number of grants to increase participation in _FIRST_ LEGO League Explore,_FIRST_ LEGO League Challenge,_FIRST_ Tech Challenge for highly diverse teams as well those with limited financial resources in St. Paul and the Eastern Suburbs of St. Paul.
* Teams who are traditionally underrepresented in robotics or face significant participation barriers, such as; * Schools with at least 60%of students eligible for free or reduced lunch or highly diverse teams, including females and students of color. * This grant is only targeted for new teams. Returning teams should check out other returning team grants on the High Tech Kids or _FIRST_ website.
* **Teams must be based in St. Paul or the eastern Twin Cities suburbs. ** * Grant recipients must register for and participate in a Minnesota event.
* Teams that received previous funding from Boston Scientific or _FIRST_ grants are not eligible to apply. * If you manage multiple teams, apply for EACH team seeking funding. * Coaches are highly encouraged to attend a _FREE_ FLL Challenge Coaches Training or FTC Kickoff event hosted by High Tech Kids.
These are**_reimbursement grants_. **Grant will be issued after the team has participated in a _FIRST_ Minnesota Event. Preview grant application **HERE**.
