Academic Readiness Grant is a grant from The Charles Hayden Foundation providing up to $120,000 to support rigorous academic programs that prepare young people for college and career success.

The foundation funds organizations in New York City and Boston that deliver high-quality educational programming, including acceleration academies, summer enrichment programs, college access and success initiatives, and comprehensive academic support. Past recipients include charter schools, public library systems, boys and girls clubs, and college preparatory programs serving students from underserved communities.

The Academic Readiness Grant is one of several program areas funded by the foundation, alongside Career Connected Learning, Social Emotional Learning, and Organization Capacity Building grants. Awards support general operating costs as well as specific programmatic initiatives that ensure continuation of transformative youth programs.
