Advanced Digital Construction Management Systems (ADCMS) Grant Program is sponsored by DOT Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The ADCMS Program is a competitive, discretionary program that focuses on accelerating the adoption of advanced technology applied throughout the construction lifecycle.
This includes design and engineering, construction, and operations phases, with goals to maximize interoperability, boost productivity, manage complexity, reduce project delays and cost overruns, and enhance safety and quality. The program supports activities that promote, implement, deploy, demonstrate, showcase, and document the application of advanced digital construction management systems, practices, performance, and benefits.
ADCMS includes digital technologies and processes for management of construction and engineering activities, such as hardware, mobile devices, software, 'internet of things' (IoT), and personnel, as well as the development and support of systems to enhance and share data across an asset's lifecycle and between organizational silos.
