Northern NY Community Foundation Latest News & Information Matching Grant Approved for Canton Day Care Center The Canton Community Fund is a non-profit organization operating under the auspices of the Northern NY Community Foundation . The Fund seeks to support local projects that sustain or improve the life of our community. We believe that Canton, New York is a wonderful place to live, work, study, and play.
The community can truly thrive when resources are available to individuals and groups that serve vulnerable neighbors and create initiatives to build community through education, the arts, and empowerment of all kinds.
Learn more about how to apply for a grant from Canton Community Fund Canton Community Fund recently approved a request from Canton Day Care Center for $5,000 matching to help them complete renovations on their second floor and make necessary improvements to meet code requirements. The Northern New York Community Foundation joined in, and contributed another $5,000.
This means that donations up to $10,000 toward this project will be matched! Canton Day Care Center has long been a wonderful resource for our community's children and families, so it is a pleasure to help them with their expansion. The Canton Community Fund supports community projects that make Canton an even better place to live, work, study, and play.
