Coalition for Family Building The Chicago Coalition for Family Building believes that everyone who wants to start a family deserves to. J oin us in supporting those struggling with infertility. Together, we build families.
$2,100,000 Total Grants Awarded Infertility affects one in six Since this powerful video was created, the stats have increased from 1:8 to 1:6. You are not alone; we invite you to learn more. However, not all infertility treatments are covered by insurance.
We believe building a family should be a human right, not a privilege. Our mission is to remove financial barriers that prevent creation of a family.
As we work toward this goal, we take action to financially and emotionally support those struggling with infertility: We provide fully funded IVF cycles generously donated by our Partner Practices We provide financial grants for IVF, pre-implantation genetic testing, intrauterine insemination, donor sperm, donor eggs, surrogacy and adoption We promote LGBTQ+ family building We provide pre-implantation genetic testing for single gene disorders to prevent the transmission of genetic diseases We are an educational resource for those with questions about infertility and coverage.
We host quarterly webinars on a variety of pertinent topics Our team of professionals provide emotional support for patients and their families. Our next grant cycle will re-open in April, 2025. See the hope given to our latest grant recipients. Financial Assistance Grant Suits: those planning to adopt or have IVF insurance but need additional financial help. Grant: up to $10,000 towards services such as third party reproduction, adoption or IVF.
Suits: those requiring IVF. Grant: One IVF cycle at a partner practice, (over 75% of IVF practices in the Chicagoland Area). Kevin J.
Lederer Memorial Grant Suits: one existing FCI patient. Grant: one IVF cycle at Fertility Centers of Illinois (FCI). JUF Path to Parenthood (Adoption Grant) Suits: couples with at least one partner that identifies as a member of the Jewish community.
Grant: up to $10,000 towards services for adoption. JUF Path to Parenthood (Fertility Grant) Suits: couples with at least one partner that identifies as a member of the Jewish community. Grant: up to $10,000 towards services for fertility treatment.
Suits: BRCA1 or BRCA2 carriers. Grant: up to $10,000 towards IVF with preimplantation genetic testing for BRCA, or egg freezing.
