Clean Air Program (CAP) is a grant from the Colorado Energy Office that funds industry-related emission reduction projects to help Colorado meet its air pollutant emission reduction goals. Grants offset the direct costs of purchasing industrial air pollutant emission reduction equipment at facilities where emissions are generated and released. Awards of up to $25,000,000 are available.
Industrial facilities eligible for this program are not permitted to combine CAP funding with the Colorado Industrial Tax Credit Offering (CITCO). The Colorado Energy Office also provides technical assistance to help eligible facilities identify decarbonization opportunities.
