This grant funding is provided to non-entitlement units of general local government—including cities, towns, townships, villages, and counties that do not receive direct CDBG allocations from HUD (seeCDBG Municipalities Mapto determine eligibility) **Letter of Intent Process to Reserve MI Neighborhood CDBG Funds – 4th Round** The submission period for Round 4 Letters of Intent (LOI) closed on March 4, 2026.
MSHDA is currently reviewing all submitted LOI and conducting consultations with eligible Units of General Local Government (UGLG) to assess project readiness. Funding determinations will be made based on eligibility, project viability, and the order in which LOI were received.
Designation Memos for selected projects will be issued upon completion of the consultation process and confirmation that proposed activities meet CDBG Program requirements. Participants who receive a designation will have up to 120 days to complete public participation requirements and submit a full MI Neighborhood CDBG application.
Once Round 4 determinations are finalized, MSHDA will post the remaining available funds by region and announce the next round of funding on this webpage. Please submit any questions to MSHDA-CDBG@michigan. gov. 02/04/2026 Letter of Intent (LOI) become Available.

**About The Third-Party Administrator Interested Party List** MSHDA has formally identified firms that are interested in providing Third Party Administration (TPA) services for MI Neighborhood Housing and Community Development Fund (HCDF) and/or Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs.
(List) This list was compiled in response to local agency requests for assistance in identifying firms that provide program administration services in their region (regional map). **MSHDA does not vet, certify, or endorse any firm on this list. ** Inclusion on the list does not imply approval or recommendation by MSHDA.
Grantees are not required to select a TPA from this list and may administer the grant independently. The TPA list is intended to serve as a reference resource for grantees by identifying firms that operate in their area and may provide these services.
