BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Health Foundation Grants is sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Health Foundation. The BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Health Foundation supports projects that promote healthy lifestyles, with a current funding focus on Addiction, emphasizing mitigating the effects of prescription drug misuse. Other focus areas include reducing disparities by improving healthcare access for vulnerable populations and ensuring all Tennesseans have access to opportunities for active recreation.

BlueCross Community Trust Grants is a grant from BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Foundation that funds the creation of BlueCross Healthy Places, which are public outdoor spaces designed to promote community health through accessible play spaces, paved walking paths, community pavilions, and similar amenities. The Foundation partners with government entities and nonprofit organizations to design and build location-specific healthy environments across Tennessee. Eligible applicants must be the legal titleholder of the property with community input on project priorities, and the site must be free and open to the public with a clear community benefit. Current funding focus areas include Access (reducing disparities by improving healthcare access for vulnerable populations), Activity (ensuring all Tennesseans have access to opportunities for active recreation), and Addiction (mitigating the effects of prescription drug misuse).

BlueCross Healthy Place grants is a grant from the BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Foundation that funds the creation of outdoor spaces designed to provide communities with opportunities for healthy physical activity and strengthen community bonds. All BlueCross Healthy Places are free and open to the public, supporting Tennessee communities through infrastructure that promotes wellness. The Foundation also provides approximately $500,000 per year through its Community Trust to select organizations statewide. Eligible applicants are government entities and nonprofit organizations that are legal titleholders of the property with full approval to execute the project and ensure site readiness.
