Sunset Ridge Park, Lake Worth, FL - a Community Development Block Grant of $232,000 funded a variety of improvements to this neighborhood park, including new restrooms with covered entrances and security lighting, a pavilion, sidewalks and walkways, parking lot and entry enhancements, playground equipment, landscaping and irrigation.
Muslet Brothers - $1. 3 million in Section 108 Loan and Brownfield Grant funds financed the construction of this 10,000-aquare-foot commercial/retail center on Avenue A in Belle Glade Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC - is a global company which supplies advanced repairs and maintenance for gas turbines used in aviation and land-based applications.
The company was assisted by a Job Growth Incentive Grant to locate their corporate headquarters and technological center in the county. Oxygen Development - This world-class supplier of cosmetics, skin care, hair care, and over-the-counter drug products completed construction of its $23 million manufacturing facility in the village of Palm Springs. The county financed $6 million of project costs through the Section 108 Loan Program.
Neighborhood Renaissance - Thirteen energy-efficient homes in the Westgate community, constructed by Neighborhood Renaissance, Inc. through a $2 million grant awarded by Palm Beach County from the state Disaster Recovery Initiative program.
Residences at Marina Village, Riviera Beach - $4,719,882 Housing Initiative Program (HIP) loan Eight-story, 149-unit Class-A mixed-income development with units designated for households earning between 30% and 110% of Area Median Income (AMI). Village of Valor, Town of Palm Springs - $4.
3 million in Housing Bond Loan funds and $2 million in Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds 2 mid-rise buildings with 54 units, including 26 two-bedroom and 28 three-bedroom units. These homes will serve households earning between 30% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Coleman Park Renaissance is a sustained effort to transform the neighborhood’s commercial corridor.
The development will provide 43 apartments affordable to residents earning 22% to 70% of the area’s median income and 4,000 sq. ft. of new commercial space for minority businesses.
Residences at Lake Worth, Lake Worth Beach - $13 million in Housing Bond Loan funding Three 5-story buildings, including 195 units with brand new one, two, and three-bedroom apartments designated for households earning between 60% and 120% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Waterview Apartments - Backed by $13 million in County funding, including funds from the Housing Bond Loan Program.
Waterview Apartments is a 6-story, 140-unit development with units designated for households earning between 30% and 80% of Area Median Income (AMI). Palm Beach County is investing nearly $1. 5 million in HOME-CHDO funds.
Once complete, Villas of Solana will feature 14 two-story buildings totaling 28 newly constructed townhomes—including 11 two-bedroom, 2. 5-bath units and 17 three-bedroom, 2. 5-bath units.
Of these, 10 homes will be reserved for households earning up to 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Palm Beach County is contributing $409,500 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Replacement funds Blue Heron Commons will be a multifamily rental development, with units designated for households with incomes at or below 50% of Area Median Income (AMI).
