Since 1996, the Players Trust has empowered Major League Players to create meaningful change in the causes and communities that matter most to them. In 2024, the Players Trust expanded its programs and resources to include Minor League Players, extending opportunities for players across all levels of professional baseball to give back and make a lasting impact.

A baseball-inspired program for middle-school youth, run in partnership with Learn Fresh. The program brings to life the energy of the sport through a board game and curriculum that cultivate students’ math skills. The program is free for organizations and schools of all types, and helps students build new skills, confidence, and a passion for learning through a fun and engaging program rooted in sport.

Start your matching gift request: Active Major League Player Active Minor League Player Most Valuable Philanthropist & Philanthropist of the Year The MVP award recognizes Major League Players making a meaningful impact through philanthropy — presented six times a season, April through September, with a $10,000 grant to each recipient's charity.
