Grants for Pet Owners | Hawaii SPCA in Maili GRANTS FOR ​FAMILIES WITH PETS Preserving the human-animal bond by providing financial assistance, resources and support to low-income individuals and survivors of domestic violence and their pets, so families can escape abuse together and stay together.

The family must complete an “apply for assistance“survey online. This generates an email reviewed by a Case Manager within 24 hours.

Friends & Vets Helping Pets is here to help during this difficult time. Grants are made to individuals and families whose ability to pay is extremely limited, but also to those of somewhat more substantial means, up to 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, who may only need minor subsidy to meet the veterinary expenses. Financial aid is intended as a supplement to family resources.
