Although the Trust is broad-purposed, it does not make grants to churches or individuals, nor for endowments, reserve purposes, deficit financing, or for the purchase of real estate. Foundation Documents for Major Capital Grants Grant Application Information (PDF) Tuition Aid Program Information Grants for Tuition Aid Programs are available to learning institutions serving children from preschool through 12 th grade in the state of Hawaii; however excludes church schools and organizations which proselytize, encourage theology, sectarianism, spiritualism, religion or any system of religious worship.
Generally the Trust prefers to be one of several contributors to a school’s tuition aid program, expecting the school to acquire needed funds from several sources to assure continuation of the program. Normally the Trust accepts only one request a year from an organization; however an additional request may be considered from a school.
