Grants for Arts Organizations - Delaware Division of the Arts Grants for Arts Organizations Grants for Community-Based Organizations Logos & Funding Acknowledgment Delaware State of the Arts Podcast The Delaware Division of the Arts offers a variety of grants for nonprofit arts organizations chartered and based in Delaware.
Below find a list of grants for organizations whose primary mission is the promotion, production, presentation, or teaching of the arts. General Operating Support (GOS) General Operating Support – for annual operating expenses to ensure that year-round participation in the arts is available to the people of Delaware. Application deadline is March 2 at 4:30pm.
Late applications are not accepted. Arts Stabilization Fund (ASF) Arts Stabilization – for improvements to facilities owned (or under long-term lease) and operated by the organization. ASF grants are funded through the Division’s participation in the Arts Consortium of Delaware, Inc. (ArtCo) endowment.
Application deadline is March 2 at 4:30pm . Late applications are not accepted. Education Resource – to assist in the facilitation of partnerships between Delaware’s schools, arts organizations, and artists in providing standards-based arts learning experiences for pre K-12 students statewide.
Education Resource projects focus on ways that Delaware arts organizations can serve as resources to Delaware schools before, during, and after the school day. Application deadline is March 2 at 4:30pm . Late applications are not accepted.
StartUp Program – financial support, training, and consultation to develop and strengthen the management capacity of emerging arts organizations so that they can operate in a sustainable manner. Completion of the StartUp Program is a prerequisite for emerging organizations seeking General Operating Support. A Letter of Interest is due no later than January 15, 2025.
Application deadline is March 2 at 4:30pm . Late applications are not accepted. Arts Access provides small grants of up to 80 percent of eligible cash expenses, not to exceed $1,250, to support the presentation of performing, visual, literary, media, or folk arts in communities throughout the state.
Arts Access Grant applications are accepted on an ongoing basis but must be received at least six (6) weeks prior to the start of the project . Applications are reviewed in the order they are received, beginning in July of each year. When the funds allocated to this program are depleted, the application will be closed for the remainder of the fiscal year (ending June 30).

Jerome Early-Career Project Grants is a grant from Forecast Public Art, funded by the Jerome Foundation, that funds the creation of new public art projects by early-career artists based in Minnesota. Two grants of $8,000 each are awarded annually to support temporary or permanent public artworks anywhere in Minnesota. Projects may be supported by public or nonprofit agencies but private commissions are not eligible, and a secured project site is required at the time of application. The program places special emphasis on supporting BIPOC and Native artists, LGBTQIA+ artists, women artists, immigrant artists, rural artists, and artists with disabilities. Eligible applicants are Minnesota-based individual artists with 2–10 years of generative experience. The application deadline was October 15, 2025.
The Local Cultural Council Program is a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council distributing $1,000 to $10,000 through a statewide network of 329 Local Cultural Councils (LCCs) representing every city and town in the Commonwealth. Each LCC awards funds based on local community cultural needs as assessed by council members. Eligible applicants include artists, nonprofits, schools, and organizations pursuing arts, humanities, and science projects. Applications are submitted directly to local councils and are typically due by October 16. Grants from most LCCs are reimbursement-based. Massachusetts Cultural Council funds the LCCs centrally, which then regrant to community projects.
