com Louisiana Healthcare Connections provides grants for programs and/or services in Louisiana that measurably improve maternal, infant, and/or child health outcomes and expand access to care.
Priority will be given to initiatives that address documented gaps in care and demonstrate the potential for meaningful, sustainable Focus areas may include, but are not limited to: Enhancing the quality, coordination, and continuity of prenatal, postpartum, and infant care Expanding access to comprehensive prenatal, postpartum, and infant wellness services in rural and healthcare shortage communities Providing education and outreach that promotes preventive care and timely health screenings during pregnancy, with particular focus on HIV and syphilis Integrating maternal mental and behavioral health services into prenatal and postpartum care settings Addressing social drivers of health that influence maternal and infant well‑being, such as food insecurity, nutrition access, safe housing, and other non‑medical Eligible applicants are Louisiana based entities that serve the Medicaid population in the state, including: Nonprofit applicants that have 501(c)(3), 501(c)(19), or 509(a)(1) IRS designation Healthcare providers that are in-network with Louisiana Healthcare Connections online application is available on the · Food security and nutrition · Housing and homelessness · Integrated service delivery · Maternal health and prenatal care · Sexual and reproductive health · Social determinants of health · Wellness, health promotion, and disease prevention For complete information about funding programs, including your application status, please contact funders directly.

NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) Academic Career Excellence (ACE) Award (K32) is a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that funds early postdoctoral fellows from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, to pursue research training in cancer-related fields. The K32 award supports fellows within 12 months prior to transitioning into, or within the first two years of, a postdoctoral position. The program, operated through NCI's Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities (CRCHD), aims to enhance the pool of qualified diverse cancer researchers.
