gov/mission/grants/high-priority-innovative-technology-deployment-grant) # High Priority Innovative Technology Deployment Grant The High Priority Innovative Technology Deployment (HP-ITD) grant provides funding to advance the technological capability and promote the deployment of intelligent transportation system applications for commercial motor vehicle (CMV) operations, including CMV, commercial driver, and carrier-specific information systems and networks, and to support and maintain CMV information systems and networks to (i) link federal motor carrier safety information systems with State CMV systems; (ii) to improve safety and productivity of CMVs and commercial drivers; and (iii) to reduce costs associated with CMV operations and regulatory requirements.
