These grants support small and mid-sized nonprofit organizations leading innovative, sustainable solutions that address critical needs in our communities. Two grants of $50,000 are awarded to nonprofit organizations with programs that are aligned with our Honors Award categories in Housing Solutions and Education and Workforce Development.
One grant delivers $100,000 in funding to a nonprofit organization with a program dedicated to serving veterans and first responders. The Texas Capital Foundation prioritizes supporting nonprofits that deliver essential services within our markets. This grant will fund programs that offer homebuyer education, housing succession planning or estate planning — addressing systemic barriers and helping families build lasting financial security.

Please return later for information on the 2027 Honors Awards. <center><h2>Community Impact Grants</h2></center> Beyond the Honors Awards, our Community Impact Grants, in accordance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), help Texas-based nonprofit organizations working to provide direct services to low- and moderate-income communities or individuals in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio.
The Texas Capital Foundation will continue to allocate its Community Impact Grants to nonprofits serving Texas-based low- and moderate-income communities/individuals under the three focus areas: Housing Solutions, Education and Workforce Development and Veterans and First Responders. These grants are by invitation only, may vary by market and adhere to the requirements of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
Funding is allocated annually to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations in good standing, which serve primarily low- and moderate-income communities/individuals in Texas Capital’s markets. For further questions, contact [email protected] .

The Community Development Officers perform annual assessments and prioritize the greatest needs within Texas Capital markets. How does a nonprofit organization submit for grant funding consideration? The Community Impact Grant process is by invitation only.
To be considered, we encourage all nonprofits to submit a proposal for your program to [email protected] . What is a qualified application? To qualify for a grant, Texas-based nonprofit organizations must provide direct services to low- and moderate-income communities in Austin, Dallas Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio.
Programs must align under the foundation’s philanthropic pillars. While all qualified submissions are read and considered, not all can be funded due to limited resources, and decisions are made based on multiple factors. Can an organization regrant funds to other nonprofits?
