International Research and Research Training is sponsored by NIH Fogarty International Center. This program supports and facilitates global health research conducted by U.S. and international investigators, builds partnerships between health research institutions in the U.S. and abroad, and trains the next generation of scientists to address global health needs in low- and middle-income countries.
It advances research on prevention and control of communicable and noncommunicable diseases and disabilities, supports research and research training in laboratory, clinical, behavioral, and population sciences, stimulates innovation in developing technologies, and supports implementation science.
