KCSAP is being implemented over a five year period (2017-2022) under the framework of the Agriculture Sector Development Strategy (ASDS) (2010-2020) and National Climate Change Response Strategy (NCCRS, 2010). Up-Scaling Climate Smart Agricultural Practices This component supports interventions that promote adoption of improved agricultural Technologies, Innovations, and Management Practices.
Strengthening Climate-Smart Agricultural Research and Seed Systems The component is supporting the generation and dissemination of improved agricultural Technologies, Innovations, and Management Practices. Support Agro-Weather, Market, and Advisory Services This component aims at enhancing access to quality climate/agro-weather, advisory and market information services.
Project Coordination and Management This component is supporting project coordination and management at both the national and county levels . Contingency Emergency Response The component will support natural or man-made crises or disasters severe economic shocks.
