Kitty Fund - Founders First CDC National Grant • For Mother-Owned Businesses Mompreneur Business Grant. A business grant + accelerator combined into one — offering $20,000 total to 20 mompreneurs nationwide. The award was created in honor of Mother’s Day and Founders First CEO Kim Folsom’s mother, Catherine “Kitty” Abrams Tadlock Webster, who passed away in March of 2020.
The Kitty Fund makes small micro investments in moms who are running employer-based small businesses with two or more employees. Flexible funding you can put toward the needs that matter most — equipment, operations, staffing, or growth. As a finalist, you'll also join one of our signature business programs at no cost: Passport Community or Zebra Leadership.
Every finalist picks a single program to join — not both. Weekly expert-led sessions covering marketing, sales, operations, and finance — designed to help you scale faster and smarter.
