Marilyn Hatza Memorial SHINE Grant Program (FY26) is sponsored by Maryland Humanities. This program offers general operating support grants to Maryland nonprofits conducting work in the humanities. The program aims to lower barriers and provide funding in a more equitable way to organizations statewide, with a focus on small and mid-size humanities, cultural, and educational nonprofits.

Maryland Center for the Book Programs is sponsored by Maryland Humanities (as an affiliate of the Library of Congress Center for the Book). The Maryland Center for the Book (MCFB) develops and supports literary programs that promote and celebrate books, reading, libraries, Maryland writers, and the state's literary heritage. Programs include 'One Maryland One Book' which encourages a statewide book club and distributes free copies, and a book drive partnering with organizations to supply books to local communities, schools, libraries, and juvenile centers.

Jerome Early-Career Project Grants is a grant from Forecast Public Art, funded by the Jerome Foundation, that funds the creation of new public art projects by early-career artists based in Minnesota. Two grants of $8,000 each are awarded annually to support temporary or permanent public artworks anywhere in Minnesota. Projects may be supported by public or nonprofit agencies but private commissions are not eligible, and a secured project site is required at the time of application. The program places special emphasis on supporting BIPOC and Native artists, LGBTQIA+ artists, women artists, immigrant artists, rural artists, and artists with disabilities. Eligible applicants are Minnesota-based individual artists with 2–10 years of generative experience. The application deadline was October 15, 2025.
