Young Professionals Program - Chamber of Commerce Hawaii Young Professionals Program Young Professionals Events Chamber of Commerce Hawaii Young Professionals Program A community of young business professionals, ages 21-39, in Hawaii with the mission to enrich our local community by uniting and developing our young professionals with a mission to empower young professionals as stewards of the business community through professional development while enhancing personal networks to foster Hawaii’s current and future business leaders.
Hawaii’s largest group of young professionals. Established by the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii in 2011, the Young Professionals Program includes over 400 members from across the state who are career-oriented and committed to making Hawaii the best place to work and play, and committed to helping the next generation be better.
With membership rates ranging from $50 to $150, members elevate their professional skills while enhancing their personal network. Local organizations, business communities and professionals from a wide range of industries depend on the YP Program to prepare the next generation of business leaders.
Over 60 volunteers contribute over 4,000 hours annually totalling an investment back to the community of $1,000,000 YP Members awarded Pacific Business News’ Forty Under 40 Award and countless others have been recognized as PBN Women Who Mean Business, Hawaii Business Magazine 20 for the Next 20 and Pacific Edge Magazine Business Achievement honorees.
The YP Steering Committee is composed of dedicated volunteer members whose efforts provide meaningful opportunities. Mentor Hawaii presented by American Savings Bank Providing exclusive access to Hawaii’s top business and community leaders across various industries for one-on-one mentoring to support career growth, leadership development and elevated business acumen.
What the Young Professionals Program Offers Events, panel discussions, and exclusive meet and greets with legislators to educate and increase civic engagement with young leaders. Opportunities for members to give back to and volunteer in the community with their fellow peers. Exec Connect presented by Enterprise Rent-A-Car Monthly talk story luncheons where young professionals have the opportunity to have lunch with a C-Suite executive.
HI School Mentor presented by HMSA Young professionals mentor high school students as a way to help guide the next generation. Mentor Hawaii presented by American Savings Bank Mentorship program that gives participants exclusive access to Hawaii’s top executives for one-on-one mentoring to support career growth and elevated business acumen.
Various events to connect and develop valuable business and personal networks, including Pau Hana Series, YP Preview Nights, Sip & Socialize, Pride, Program Launch Party, Holiday Party, and Awards & Anniversary Reception. Professional Development Classes (PDC) presented by Kaiser Permanente Monthly classes that support advancement in the workplace.
Wahine presented by Aloha Termite & Pest Control Professional development and networking events designed especially for young women leaders. Leaders are Readers: YP Amazon Storefront Shop the YP Amazon Shop for leadership and professional development books that have been recommended by our guest speakers and mentors.
