Mitochondrial Disease Sequence Data Resource Consortium is a grant from NIH National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) that funds research infrastructure and clinical studies for rare mitochondrial diseases. Administered through the North American Mitochondrial Disease Consortium (NAMDC), a member of the Rare Diseases Clinical Research Network, the program supports a network of 17 clinical centers focused on improving diagnosis and care, establishing natural history, supporting translational research, and investigating treatment for mitochondrial diseases caused by mutations in mitochondrial or nuclear DNA. The consortium collaborates with the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation and maintains a Clinical Registry and Biorepository. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, universities, state and local governments, and for-profit organizations.

Craig H. Neilsen Foundation Allied Health Professional Research Award of ASIA is sponsored by Craig H. Neilsen Foundation (administered by ASIA). This award encourages allied health professionals at the Master's or Clinical Doctorate level with an interest in research to pursue a career as researchers in the field of spinal cord injury. The recipient will be mentored by an experienced researcher.
