The NIA SBIR program funds small businesses to develop and validate technologies that enhance the health and well-being of older adults, with high interest in technologies addressing unmet needs, improving care delivery, or reducing caregiver burden. Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Grants (R43 and R44) is sponsored by National Institute on Aging (NIA), National Institutes of Health (NIH). This program supports research and development of aging- and health-focused products and services by small business concerns that may ultimately lead to commercialization.
