NYSPHSAA Foundation School and Partner Organization Grants is sponsored by New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Foundation. The NYSPHSAA Foundation offers grants for NYSPHSAA schools and partner organizations working with their membership, with applications reviewed quarterly.

Grants - New York State Public High School Athletic Association School and Partner Organization Grants The NYSPHSAA Foundation offers grants of up to $1,000 for NYSPHSAA schools and partner organizations working with our membership. Applications for grants are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed quarterly. More information is provided on each application form below.

Partner Organization Grants Application review dates are set for August, December, March, and May each year. You will be contacted after your application has been reviewed and funding decisions have been made by the board. 2026-27 Submission and review dates: Submit by August 13 - Board Review August 18.

Submit by December 10 - Board Review December 18. Submit by March 4 - Board Review March 12. Submit by April 29 - Board Review May 7.

RefReps Officials Certification Scholarship The NYSPHSAA Foundation is offering reimbursement scholarships to two students in each section for completion of the RefReps officials certification course.

To be eligible, a student must: > Have completed the RefReps certification course > Officiated a minimum of three interscholastic contests > Be a high school student in good academic standing at a NYSPHSAA member school Sports currently eligible for scholarship are baseball, football, and flag football.

org . Officials Certification Scholarship Application USTA Tennis Venue Services Grant The USTA Tennis Venue Services offer competitive grant funding to tennis facilities that are open to the public and meet various requirements.

Funding eligibility is based on several criteria including the scope and complexity of the project, the number of tennis courts at the facility, and in the case of Category 3 projects, the successful completion of a technical review. Funding can be used on projects such as resurfacing, court amenities like windscreens, lighting, and even new construction.

Grant applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and funding is distributed as a reimbursement after project completion and a final accountability review. The maximum funding a project may be eligible for varies by project type and is determined on a per-court basis up to 50% of the total project cost. Brooks Running Grant (NFHS Partnership) The NFHS announced a new partnership with Brooks Running to help promote their Team Grants program which funds underserved high school cross country and track programs with performance running gear and financial assistance. This school year, as part of their new NFHS Corporate Partnership, Brooks Running will be donating over $1,000,000 in gear to NFHS member schools around the country.

Grant recipients receive shoes and apparel for up to 50 runners per team up to $17,000 MSRP. Cross Country grants open in May and are reviewed in June, and Track & Field grants open in January and are reviewed in February each year.
