Or search similar grants →According to the current listing, eligibility includes: Eligible applicants: Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; Others (see text field entitled Additional Information on Eligibility for clarification). a) A Tribal College or University (TCU) as defined in the Higher Education Act, Page 12 Section 316 (20 U.S.C. §1059c); b) A community college located on or near tribal lands or Indian lands as defined under 25 U.S.C. §2; c) A trade or vocational school that primarily serves federally recognized Indian Tribes, Alaska Native villages or organizations (as defined under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, 43 U.S.C. §1601 et seq.), or Native Hawaiian communities; or d) A tribal-serving institution with established manufacturing or skilled labor training programs. • Have been in existence continually for at least the past three years; • Have experience providing hands-on, in-person technical assistance, tools, or training relating to manufacturing or skilled labor to small businesses on a regional or national basis; and • Demonstrate that it has the capacity to provide manufacturing-related training and technical assistance to small business concerns.
