Designed to help start your journey to net zero, our in-kind support provides the tools and expertise you need to lead in sustainability. One Carbon World’s support is centred around an MRV backbone and our team of experts experienced in GHG inventory methodologies, standards, target setting and climate action.
These include the development of Carbon Emission and Removal Inventories, Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) target setting amongst others. Below you’ll find details of the Carbon Reduction Grant Service Provision: one of the many ways we can support you in calculating and offsetting your carbon emissions.
Our Grant Service Provision consists of: 1. GHG Emissions Inventory: Measurement or Verification . Our experts will accurately measure or verify your organisation’s emissions in compliance with globally recognised methodologies (i.e., the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and PAS 2060 standards).
2. Tailored Emissions Reduction Advice . We provide tailored advice on areas ripe for emissions reductions in your Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions in future years.
3. Balancing . Where you are unable to make reductions in hard to abate emissions sources, we will retire up to 100 tonnes of certified carbon credits in your organisation’s name at no additional cost, inclusive of our grant provision.
4. Expert Management and Technical Support . Expert management and technical support through every phase of your climate action journey.
This includes easy-to-use data capture forms and guidance. 5. Recognition .
To recognise the stage in your emissions reductions journey, we will provide you with a Bronze, Silver or Gold Badge and an Achievement Report (with recommendations on how to take further actions to raise your recognition up the podium in the future). 6. Communications Support .
Communications support to highlight your sustainability journey. The OCW Grant Provision provides 50% of the costs of this process. For organisations with fewer than 250 employees, the contribution fee would be £3,000 per year (compared to the standard cost of £6,000 without grant provision).
For larger organisations with over 250 employees, the fee would be £5,000 per year (compared to the standard cost of £10,000 without grant provision).
